You can use the fish finder in multiple ways, because it has its own nine meter cable (29.5 feet). It even comes with its own wing nut. The sensor is attached to the cable, so that you have a better idea of how it works. Simply drop it in the water either from a boat, or either from shore and check out any water fauna in that area. The Fish Finder with Sonar Sensor will work at temperatures ranging from -20 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees (-4 to 158 Fahrenheit degrees). Then the LCD screen will show you if there are fishes near you or Where fishes are coming to.

How does the sonar sensor work?

Sonar technology is based on sound waves. The system uses sonar to locate and define structure, composition, as well depth directly below the transducer of up to 45 degrees coverage. The transducer sends a sound wave signal and determines the distance by measuring the time between the transmission of the sound wave and when the sound wave is reflected off an object. It then uses the reflected signal to interpret the location, size, and composition of an object.
